Softball Recap: John Carroll Comes Up Short

John Carroll lost against Archbishop Spalding on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Patriots fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Patriots have suffered against the Cavaliers since March 29, 2022.

John Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Archbishop Spalding, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
