South Effingham came tearing into Saturday's match with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Northside Christian Academy by a score of 2-0.

South Effingham can attribute much of their success to Lauren Olson, who had five digs and two aces. That's the most aces Olson has posted over her last ten contests.

South Effingham's victory bumped their record up to 30-9. As for Northside Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

South Effingham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Riverside on the 27th. As for Northside Christian Academy, they will face off against First Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
