Baseball Game Preview: Withrow Tigers vs. Western Hills Mustangs

Withrow hasn't had much luck against Western Hills recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

It was a proper cat-fight when Withrow challenged Finneytown on Saturday. The Tigers fell 8-5 to the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Western Hills fell victim to Taylor and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 13-0 to the Yellowjackets. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost three in a row.

Western Hills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reggie Payne, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Withrow's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Western Hills, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Withrow might still be hurting after the 12-1 loss they got from Western Hills in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
