Softball Recap: Graves County Takes a Loss

Graves County lost against Marshall County back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Marshals, falling 8-2.

Graves County's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-14-1. As for Marshall County, their victory bumped their record up to 30-5.

Looking ahead, Graves County will be playing at home against Kennett at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Marshall County, they will head out on the road to challenge McCracken County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Marshals surely won't give up without a fight.
