Basketball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Olympus Titans, falling 85-59. The Eagles have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Skyline still got an impressive performance from Leelu Bare, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. What's more, Bare also racked up seven assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Norah Pearce, who made all 6 shots she took to post 13 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks.

It was another big night for Joss Baker, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and 21 boards for Olympus. Baker has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 27 times she's played. Tessa Cromar was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten assists.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Olympus, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8.
