It was a good run, but Springboro unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-match winning streak on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Mason Comets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since August 19th.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-17.

Logan Stephens paced Springboro's offense, picking up six kills. Stephens got some help from Lily Mercer and her 17 assists.

Springboro's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Mason, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.
