With a playoff win on the line, Lovett rose to the challenge on Monday. They blew past the Wesleyan Wolves 8-1. Considering Lovett have won 13 games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Lovett, bringing their record up to 15-3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Wesleyan, they moved to 17-2 with that defeat, which also ended their 14-game winning streak.

Lovett has already played their next contest (against Holy Innocents Episcopal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wesleyan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
