Softball Recap: Williams Yellowjackets vs. Quincy Trojans
Williams extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 30 on Friday, dropping their season record down to 0-19 in the process. They came up short against the Quincy Trojans, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 on Friday.
As for Quincy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.
For Quincy's part, the team relied heavily on Addison Gay, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Gay has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Peay, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
As of now, neither Williams nor Quincy have any future games scheduled.
