 Elberta entered their tilt with LeFlore with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the LeFlore Rattlers 18-3. That's more bragging rights for Elberta, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Blakely Hooper and  Brooklyn Ward did most of the damage at the plate:  Hooper  went 2-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple, while  Ward  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. Hooper has been hot recently, having posted three or more  RBI the last three times she's  played.  Lynleigh May was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Elberta's victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-15. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.3 runs per game. As for LeFlore, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record  this season.
 Elberta will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Daphne at 7:00  p.m. Daphne will roll in looking for their  28th straight  win, something Elberta surely won't give up without a fight. As for LeFlore, they will play host again  in Tuesday's  first game to welcome Gulf Shores, where first pitch is scheduled  at 3:30  p.m. Gulf Shores' pitching crew has only allowed three  runs per game  this season, so LeFlore's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
