Basketball Game Preview: Lopez Lobos vs. Grace Academy Eagles

Lopez is 2-8 against Grace Academy since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Lopez Lobos are taking a road trip to face off against the Grace Academy Eagles at 4:00 p.m.

Last Monday, Lopez was beaten by Concrete 71-43.

Meanwhile, Grace Academy made easy work of Shoreline Christian on Tuesday and carried off a 42-21 win.

Grace Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points per game. As for Lopez, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Lopez strolled past Grace Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 42-24. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lopez since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
