Basketball Recap: Covenant Day Skates Past North Raleigh Christian Academy with Ease

Covenant Day lost to North Raleigh Christian Academy back in December of 2014, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Covenant Day Lions blew past the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights 52-25. That looming 52-25 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Covenant Day to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaitlyn Allen, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. Avery Houseton was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Despite the defeat, North Raleigh Christian Academy had strong showings from Khloe Moye, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Haven Welch, who posted four points along with five rebounds and three steals.
