Basketball Recap: Chemawa Indian Comes Up Short

Chemawa Indian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 78-33 loss at the hands of the Kennedy Trojans. The matchup marked the Braves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Chemawa Indian's record now sits at 0-5. As for Kennedy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chemawa Indian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Westside Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025. As for Kennedy, they will head out to challenge Triangle Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
