The Gulf Shores Dolphins will take on the Goodpasture Christian Cougars at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Gulf Shores' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Goodpasture Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Gulf Shores' pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victor by an 11-0 margin over Demopolis. Considering the Dolphins have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Anna Leigh Price and Madi Nelson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Price tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Nelson didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. At bat, Price went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Nelson scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those three hits gave Price a new career-high.
In other batting news, Neaveh James was a standout: she scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Anayia McCutchen was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Goodpasture Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 9-4 win over Page on Thursday.
Goodpasture Christian got a massive performance out of Katelyn Bryant, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi Crocker, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Goodpasture Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Page only posted a batting average of .231.
The victory made it two in a row for Gulf Shores and bumps their season record up to 13-9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Goodpasture Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
