Football Recap: Walnut Hills Takes a Loss

Walnut Hills fell victim to Little Miami and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Panthers, falling 33-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Will Rivers threw for 158 yards on 16 of 31 attempts. Jason Nicholas was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards.

Walnut Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Little Miami, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Walnut Hills and Little Miami could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Eagles will challenge Winton Woods at 6:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (408 vs. 18). Meanwhile, Little Miami (ranked 259th) will meet Lebanon (ranked 74th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
