Recap: Bonneville Lakers vs. Farmington Phoenix
The Bonneville Lakers lost against the Farmington Phoenix back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The matchup between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Bonneville falling 60-43. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for them in their matchups with Farmington: they've now lost three in a row.
Paul Beattie was the offensive standout of the matchup as he dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Farmington's points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Haskell, who scored 19 points.
Bonneville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Farmington, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Bonneville's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Syracuse at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Farmington won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Maple Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Maple Mountain knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Farmington likes a good challenge.
