Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Horizon walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Ironwood Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-20.

Horizon was led to victory by Isabelle (Isa) Mcilroy and Tessa Caldwell. Mcilroy had seven digs and two assists, while Caldwell had five digs and three assists. That's the most assists Caldwell has posted since back in October.

Horizon's victory bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Ironwood, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 19-13 record.

Coming up, Horizon will face off against Sunrise Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ironwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
