Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Lincoln faced off against Mt. Pleasant on Thursday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Cardinals. The Lions have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

While Lincoln was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-23, 25-20.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Lincoln has already played their next contest (against Gilroy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mt. Pleasant, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Yerba Buena on the 29th.
