Softball Recap: Gadsden City Titans vs. Gaston Bulldogs
Gadsden City barely beat Gaston the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans were the clear victors by a 21-5 margin over the Bulldogs on Monday. The contest marked the Titans' most dominant win of the season.
Raina Underwood was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
