Defiance posted their closest win since August 25th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Bryan Golden Bears 3-2. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Defiance was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 14-25, 22-25, 25-15, 15-9.

Isabella Rowlison paced Defiance's offense, picking up 16 kills. Rowlison got some help from Elliana Gomez and her 14 assists.

Defiance's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Bryan, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Defiance will welcome Kenton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bryan, they will take on Swanton at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
