Comeaux hadn't done well against New Iberia recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Spartans took down the Yellowjackets 42-28. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 48-23 victory the Yellowjackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.
