Osborn put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Southeastern Jungaleers a 17-0 shutout. The Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

J Williams was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on A Woods, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. He is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was W Alverez, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases.

Osborn always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .759. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

Osborn pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Southeastern, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Osborn will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Jungaleers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
