Basketball Game Preview: Chelsea Hornets vs. Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils

Having just played yesterday, the Chelsea Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chelsea is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.

Chelsea's tournament run continued when they took on Neshoba Central on Monday. Chelsea was the clear victor by a 66-41 margin over Neshoba Central. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Mortimer Jordan strolled past Cullman with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 58-40. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Chelsea has also been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Mortimer Jordan, they pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Chelsea came up short against Mortimer Jordan in their previous matchup back in December of 2021, falling 42-38. Can Chelsea avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
