Basketball Game Preview: Quanah Indians vs. Vega Longhorns

The Quanah Indians will take on the Vega Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 73-41, which was the final score in Quanah's tilt against Wellington on Tuesday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Skyrockets recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Vega waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Comanches 51-26. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Comanches are ranked 818th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Quanah's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Vega, their victory bumped their record up to 20-7.
