Football Recap: LaBrae Takes a Loss

LaBrae lost against Garfield back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings were dealt a 41-6 loss at the hands of the G-Men. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 525th, while the G-Men are ranked 229th).

Kenny Yoho threw for 95 yards and one TD while completing 75% of his passes. Elijah Harper was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards. On the ground, Easton Armstrong rushed for 71 yards on only seven carries.

LaBrae's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Garfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

LaBrae didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 41-6 victory against Newton Falls on the 19th. As for Garfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 56-22 win against Champion on the 19th.
