Baseball Preview: Lockport Porters vs. Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers        
        
		
            Lockport and Bradley-Bourbonnais are an even 3-3 against one another  since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Porters will challenge the Boilermakers at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The last four games Lockport has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Lockport fell victim to Joliet West and their airtight pitching crew  on Saturday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of  2-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Porters haven't been shut out since  back in March.
 Jack Schiek was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   seven  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.

 At the plate, Lockport saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Adam Kozak, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base. Kozak has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.
Meanwhile, Bradley-Bourbonnais lost  15-2 to Oak Forest on Saturday. The Boilermakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
