It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Air Academy had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Pueblo West Cyclones as they made off with a 4-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Air Academy, who have now won five games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Pueblo West with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Makenna Agrimson (2), Ionie Christopherson, and Hadley Schweiger.

Air Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those five matches. As for Pueblo West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7-1.

Coming up, Air Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Mead on Saturday. Air Academy's defense better be ready for this one: Mead have averaged an impressive 3.9 goals per game this season. Pueblo West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
