Basketball Recap: Pieper Comes Up Short

If Pieper was riding high fresh off their 91-52 takedown of Smithson Valley on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Boerne-Champion Chargers by a score of 62-60 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Warriors have suffered since December 29, 2025.

Pieper has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-10 record this season. As for Boerne-Champion, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-9.
