Basketball Recap: Pieper Takes a Loss

Pieper easily dispatched Smithson Valley on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Warriors fell just short of the Boerne-Champion Chargers by a score of 62-60 on Friday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 74-59.

THOMAS is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games he's played. YEMI TOLANI was another key player, going 5-for-11 en route to 15 points.

Pieper has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-10 record this season. As for Boerne-Champion, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.
