Basketball Recap: Andre Lopez's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bloomsburg Christian over Centre County Christian Academy

On Friday, Bloomsburg Christian came up short against Centre County Christian Academy and fell 44-36. The loss was Bloomsburg Christian's first of the season.

Several Bloomsburg Christian players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andre Lopez, who posted 11 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Stouffer, who had six points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bloomsburg Christian fell to 2-1. As for Centre County Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Bloomsburg Christian will host Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Centre County Christian Academy, they will challenge Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season.
