Basketball Recap: Enka Jets vs. T.C. Roberson Rams
Enka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the T.C. Roberson Rams. The match was a 25-25 toss-up at halftime, but the Jets couldn't quite close it out.

Enka lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Hyatt Middleton, who went 7 of 10 en route to 21 points and five rebounds. Those 21 points gave Middleton a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Logan Trantham, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds.
Dean Lowe was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine boards for T.C. Roberson. Lowe's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gray Davis, who posted seven points.
Enka's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for T.C. Roberson, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8.
Enka will welcome North Buncombe at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in North Buncombe's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for T.C. Roberson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-46 victory against Asheville on the 8th.
