Recap: Inspired Vision EAGLES vs. Garland Christian Academy Swordsmen
The Inspired Vision EAGLES's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Garland Christian Academy on the road and fell 71-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Inspired Vision has scored all season.
It was another big night for Caden Sandlin, who scored 33 points along with eight rebounds and six assists for Garland Christian Academy. The match was Sandlin's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aiden Tiet, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Inspired Vision has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Garland Christian Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Inspired Vision will be playing in front of their home fans against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Garland Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Winston School of Dallas at 3:30 p.m. on January 5th. Hopefully Winston School of Dallas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 back in December of 2023.
