Basketball Game Preview: World of Inquiry Griffins vs. Livonia Bulldogs

The World of Inquiry Griffins will challenge the Livonia Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. World of Inquiry knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Livonia likes a good challenge.

World of Inquiry is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Lyons just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 80-79 to the Lions. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (70), the Griffins still had to take the loss.

Despite their loss, World of Inquiry saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jaedon Adams, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 19 points and seven assists, was perhaps the best of all. Adams has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Curtis Bell, who went 8-for-17 en route to 21 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Livonia). They claimed a resounding 75-46 victory over Wayland-Cohocton. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

Livonia's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for World of Inquiry, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-3.
