Football Recap: Naperville North Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Metea Valley last Friday, Naperville North came back down to earth. The Huskies took a 24-10 bruising from the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings on Friday. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Josiah Nothacker threw for 104 yards and one touchdown. Finnian Bretag was his top target, picking up 52 receiving yards. On the ground, William Eloe rushed for 89 yards.

Naperville North's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Homewood-Flossmoor, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Naperville North is set to challenge their familiar foe Lockport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Homewood-Flossmoor will square off against rival Sandburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
