Softball Recap: Skyline Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rigby, Skyline was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Snow Canyon Warriors by a score of 8-5. This was payback for the Grizzlies, who suffered a 22-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Dixee O'Haver, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Traeley Schwartz, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Skyline was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .526. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.

The win got Skyline back to even at 1-1. As for Snow Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Skyline didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-4 victory against Murray on the 21st. As for Snow Canyon, they have also already played their next match, an 18-3 win against Hunter on the 21st.
