Soccer Recap: Neville Snags Seventh Win in Last Nine Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Monroe, Neville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Airline Vikings a 1-0 shutout. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Neville has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Airline, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neville will take on St. Amant at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Airline, they will challenge Evangel Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Airline is facing Evangel Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Evangel Christian Academy is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
