Basketball Recap: Broadview/Lavina Takes a Loss

Broadview/Lavina has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-54 heartbreaker at the hands of Harlowton/Ryegate/Judith Gap. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Pirates have suffered since February 3, 2024.

Broadview/Lavina's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Harlowton/Ryegate/Judith Gap, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-5 record.

Broadview/Lavina will take on Custer/Hysham at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Custer/Hysham will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Broadview/Lavina surely won't give up without a fight. Harlowton/Ryegate/Judith Gap does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
