Flag Football Game Preview: Vista del Lago Eagles vs. Christian Brothers Falcons + How To Watch

The Vista del Lago Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Christian Brothers Falcons at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Wednesday, Vista del Lago got the win against Rio Americano by a conclusive 27-7. The Eagles have beaten the Raiders the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Raiders has come to flipping the script.

One reason for the win was Vista del Lago's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Leading the way was Megan Fisher with two.

Meanwhile, while Christian Brothers put up plenty of points on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Inderkum. The Falcons simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tigers 51-0. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Tigers are ranked 311th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Vista del Lago's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Christian Brothers, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Vista del Lago won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in September, slipping by Christian Brothers 13-12. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
