Volleyball Recap: Jellico Comes Up Short

Jellico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bell County Bobcats. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jellico's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Bell County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Jellico didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Rockcastle County on the 27th. As for Bell County, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Barbourville on the 27th.
