Soccer Recap: Bridgeport Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Bridgeport was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell just short of the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears by a score of 1-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bridgeport now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fairmont Senior, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bridgeport will host Wheeling Park at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wheeling Park will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Bridgeport surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fairmont Senior, they will be playing at home against South Charleston at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
