Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Fairfield). They came out on top against the Madawaska Owls by a score of 77-65 on Thursday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Tigers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Owls are ranked 17th).

Fort Fairfield is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Madawaska, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-1.

As of now, neither Fort Fairfield nor Madawaska have any future games scheduled.
