Volleyball Recap: Archangels Catholic Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Archangels Catholic can now relate to. They came up short against the Mullen Broncos on Saturday, falling 3-0.

Archangels Catholic took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-17.

Kali Jarosz paced Archangels Catholic's offense, picking up six kills. Jarosz got some help from Tatum Classen and her 15 assists. Jarosz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Archangels Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Mullen, their win bumped their record up to 20-10.

Archangels Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mullen, they will take on Cambridge at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight.
