Bethel-Tate and Felicity-Franklin are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bethel-Tate duked it out with Williamsburg on Friday. The Tigers took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Tigers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Bethel-Tate saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addysyn Bohl, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run. Another was Jess Mahan, who went 1-for-5 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Felicity-Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to Clermont Northeastern. On the bright side, the three- run performance marked the Cardinals' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Alwxis Harless was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That run marked the first that she has scored this season.

Bethel-Tate's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Felicity-Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Felicity-Franklin's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bethel-Tate hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .327. It's a different story for Felicity-Franklin, though, as they've only averaged .167. Will they be able to contain Bethel-Tate's hitters?

Bethel-Tate took their victory against Felicity-Franklin in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 18-1 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
