Baseball Recap: Osceola's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Osceola entered their tilt with Sacred Heart on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Gremlins. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 11-1 win the Gremlins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2019.

Osceola's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Sacred Heart, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Osceola has already played their next contest, a 14-7 loss against Lincoln on the 16th. Sacred Heart does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
