Soccer Game Preview: Episcopal School of Jacksonville vs. Providence School

The Episcopal School of Jacksonville Eagles will face off against the Providence School Stallions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Episcopal School of Jacksonville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Trinity Christian Academy a 6-0 shutout. The result kept the Eagles happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 12, 2024.

Their offense was hitting Trinity Christian Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Edmond Saoud led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Providence School brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Global Outreach Charter Academy on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Stallions as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Providence School's win bumped their record up to 3-10-1. As for Episcopal School of Jacksonville, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2-4.

Episcopal School of Jacksonville came out on top in a nail-biter against Providence School in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, sneaking past 1-0.
