Soccer Recap: Pilibos Comes Up Short

Pilibos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Holy Martyrs Armenian Armens. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in January.

Pilibos' defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Holy Martyrs Armenian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pilibos will head out to challenge Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA)'s last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Holy Martyrs Armenian, they will venture away from home to square off against Providence at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
