After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Highland Springs, Godwin was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hermitage Panthers with a sharp 43-19 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.
Godwin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mia Fairman, who posted ten points and seven rebounds. Those seven boards gave Fairman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Crowley, who earned ten points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.
