Preview: Sharon Eagles vs. Oliver Ames Tigers
Sharon has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. After each having a week off, the Sharon Eagles and the Oliver Ames Tigers will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two weeks ago, everything went Sharon's way against Attleboro as Sharon made off with a 35-14 win.
Sharon can attribute much of their success to Liam Conway, who threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. David Bondar also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Oliver Ames had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Martha's Vineyard Regional with a 20-14 win two weeks ago. The win was just what Oliver Ames needed coming off of a 35-7 loss in their prior contest.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 3-7.
Sharon came up short against Oliver Ames in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, falling 28-20. Can Sharon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
