Mountain Crest has gone 8-2 against Logan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Mustangs will welcome the Grizzlies at 3:30 p.m. Mountain Crest will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Last Friday, Mountain Crest came up short against West Field and fell 11-7.

Mountain Crest saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sage Walker, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Abby Nelson, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Logan is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Malad. The Grizzlies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Dragons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Grizzlies have posted since April 19, 2024.

Norah Zundel looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Kiki Laing was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Cadence Boyer was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Mountain Crest dropped their record down to 4-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Logan, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Mountain Crest beat Logan 8-4 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
