Baseball Game Preview: Muenster Hornets vs. Era Hornets

For the second straight game, Muenster will face off against Era. We've got a battle between Hornets coming up. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Muenster 3.9, Era 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Last Tuesday, Muenster earned a 7-2 win over Era. The victory continues a trend for Muenster in their matchups with Era: they've now won four in a row.

For Era's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Barnes, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Cole Stevens was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Muenster pushed their record up to 11-5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Era, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-4-3.
