Kittatinny Regional's five-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They breezed by Parsippany at home to the tune of 43-13. Kittatinny Regional's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last five games.
Jacob Savage had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Vinny Falchetta got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Wallkill Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their fourth straight loss. They fell 23-14 to Lenape Valley.
Kittatinny Regional's victory on Saturday bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Wallkill Valley, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-5.
Kittatinny Regional was taken down by Wallkill Valley 69-19 in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Thankfully for Kittatinny Regional, Dylan Bonser (who threw for 348 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also punched in three touchdowns on the ground) won't be suiting up this time.
